Welcome to this week's blurb!
This week, we have a new addition to the blurb that is being added as a special feature! That's right, a weekly comic panel is being added to the blurb! Now if you're reading this, you're probably going to look at the banner and realize that's why the banner looks that way, cause now I have some extra work to do every week. Don't worry about me having to deal with the workload as I have a schedule figured out, and I have been thinking about adding a weekly panel for quite a while now, so hopefully all of you will be able to enjoy this panel later in the blurb!
Also, just so that everyone knows, I am very well aware of the fact that Discord is basically destroying permanent hotlinks for images, in which they essentially set expiration dates for those images, and I am also aware that this is something that affects the blurb because I use hotlinks cause I like the convenience. Don't worry about it, I'll just use Google Drive or something? A shame, but it's just linking at the end of the day, there's bound to be a decent image hosting site somewhere.
With that out of the way, let's take a look at what the community has been up to this week:
Crazy cool shot of two spaceships with one evidently in progress, wild scale though!:

Someone posted this way back in the day and I have no idea what it's supposed to be, if I had to guess maybe an import of a mapping of two galaxies colliding? It looks sick though:

Now we arrive at this week's user column!
Each week I will be asking members of the Brickadia community a question relevant to Brickadia at the moment, whether that be in regard to development, speculation, or even just hopes and desires surrounding the game itself.
The question this week is:
Given how hit games and franchises often get spin-offs, adaptions, and even weird audiobooks with bad voiceovers, if Brickadia were big enough for it, what extensions of Brickadia would you want that aren't additional features for the game itself? (Examples: Minecraft Dungeons, any dumb video game movie (lol), game novelizations, etc.)
"I think a Brickadia movie would be the most fitting lol, a rival to the lego movie...it'd be funny if the plot was actually people looking for the golden brick."
"The first thing that comes to mind for me is something like minecraft story mode, which I guess was funny in an unintentional way. The thing I would actually be most interested in would be an official comic, like valve has done for tf2 and left 4 dead. Some of the sfm stuff for tf2 is cool too, so something like that would be neat for brickadia, if the game was ever big enough to warrant a machinima or animation contest. More in the spirit of the idea of crazy spin-offs though, I think a brickadia board game would be pretty funny, like something that covers the whole table but you have to spend 3 days assembling the whole thing out of individual bricks beforehand. That's all I got :O"
"Hmmmm, maybe something like Minecraft story mode? I havent paid much attention to spin-offs n' stuff, but in terms of games I cant really think of anything that can't just be done in Brickadia, and I don't really watch movies so this is hard to answer."
And now for the first comic panel for the blurb!:
For this column of speculation, we're going to be taking a look at two images:

Now, full disclaimer, the second image is fairly old (EDIT: The image itself actually refers to updating GUIs), and we'll take about that in a second. The main point to consider here is the first image, where we've received confirmation that destruction physics will not be in the game when it releases as Early Access. While this is somewhat disappointing, the main simplified version as to why I understand that in itself is the case is that, given how Sixmorphugus talks about the inefficiency and issues with grids being broken up for smaller grids, I imagine the issue is largely based around the huge potential for lagspikes. I, for one, would not be an enjoyer of a 1 million brick build blowing up and suddenly having my memory be used up all the way to 100% and run into a blue screen, ESPECIALLY not on this new-ish computer of mine.
Now unfortunately, while that is the reality of the matter, I wouldn't imagine destruction physics as something being super far off once the game launches for Early Access, which is why I bring up the second image. The second image is kind of a checklist made in 2020 to showcase where Brickadia was at the time in terms of features and development. Suffice to say, pretty much all of these features are in Brickadia at its current state. So if I had to guess anything about destruction physics being developed for Brickadia and how long that would take, I imagine that would be a huge focus so long as other features for behaviors and vehicles aren't receiving additional major features beyond Early Access. As a matter of fact, I think that were Brickadia to go big, I imagine the development of a system for destruction physics could potentially be bolstered, but now that's more in the realm of baseless speculation. Case and point? My fingers hurt, now look at Sixmorphugus's cursor:
