Now we arrive at this week's user column!

Each week I will be asking members of the Brickadia community a question relevant to Brickadia at the moment, whether that be in regard to development, speculation, or even just hopes and desires surrounding the game itself.

The question this week is:

What cosmetic items would you like to see in Brickadia?

stixc

"Honestly I'd vouch for more interactive items that aren't just the healing potion/soda can(soon), so maybe physical food like popcorn? Also a camera item ala garry's mod for taking pics would be nice"

Moonkey

KeyboardCombination

"Swordpack for the back."

So for this week, uhm, uh...

I kind of realize now that making speculation when you've speculated as much as you feasibly can is a little tough. Actually, wait, no, I got something:

It is well known that in the community that physics is going to be a big thing to be featured in Early Access alongside behaviors and vehicles. However, one tool that isn't really discussed or talked about recently despite being known about is the Manipulator tool.

For those unaware, this is what it looks like:

The tool seemingly appears to share some resemblance and functionality to the Phsygun from Garry's Mod. Additionally, its use has been demonstrated in videos such as these:

One thing to note is that in this video, the domino pieces have a bit of a hard time pushing each other on some occassions. From what it looks like, there is too much "friction" as you can probably guess. However, given that this is something that is noted as being "uncooperative", it could be reasonable to assume that we could see the implementation of properties for bricks and objects in general. Some bricks would be highly frictive while other bricks are slippery similar to butter and ice.

We've also see the functionality for bricks being pushed with the Manipulator tool with nothing but the tool itself. Footage of this can be seen at the 0:18 second mark of this Twitter video posted by the official Brickadia Twitter account: Uncooperative dominos.

With that out of the way, I can probably use this spot right now to talk about some details for a contest I plan on hosting.

As of right now, the details are still being sorted out, but I plan on hosting a contest within the next few months right before July where the winner will recieve a free copy of Brickadia that I will gift them (I don't know how keys work either lol). How will winners be determined? What will the contest involve readers or players doing? That's to be found out soon, but stay tuned for details on that.

And that's all for this week of the durb blurb!
