Look's like we're back on the grind!

2 weeks was pretty nice for a small break from the blurb, though probably not very satisfying for people who had to go through two delayed blurbs.

So what did I do during those 2 weeks?

Well, the first thing I did was sleep at reasonable hours, followed by animating something pretty cool!

Pretty neat, right? Hoping that in some point I can animate something very smooth and cool in the future like this, but as an actual video. But THAT would take quite an amount of time to pull off.

Brickadia #dev-media strikes again!

This week, we'll be taking a look at a plethora of pictures revealing the existence of new bricks:

This is the kind of stuff you love to see in a game that literally has brick in the name of the title!

As we can see, we now have a Ingot piece, Half-Cylinder pieces, Inverted Half-Cylinder pieces, and Coin pieces!

But what could they possibly be used for?

Well, let's take a look at some examples already used by the developers!

Now with all of these pieces, it really does make you wonder what other pieces could be added next? It would only seem natural that, given how we have cone bricks, cylindrical bricks, and now half-cylindrical pieces, that we could at some point get dome pieces of some kind that aren't conical. Apart from that, with the presence of special pieces like ingots and coins, it also leaves one to wonder if, at some point, we'll be getting more special pieces.

Given how we're going to be getting spawnable NPC's, what stops us from having pieces of an avatar as placeable pieces? What about many of the cosmetic pieces in Brickadia? I'm sure a lot of folks would like to place a top-hat on a brick without having to resort to several microbricks in order to do so. While it may be absolutely psychotic to say I want to place pieces of the player's body parts as bricks, I think there's some use at least in regard to creating unique builds.

What about crystal pieces, or perhaps even dollar bill pieces? If there was a dollar bill piece, you have to create some variations at least. It would be hilarious if there were official bills with the Brickadia logo on it and then you had counterfeit bills with the egg icon on it.

Still waiting on specialized hinge-bricks, devs. But I can also see why that might be difficult to add.

Now realistically, touching on that, I imagine that since this game is a 3D building block game, there's probably some things they can't include so as to avoid any sort of legal issues. In the past, some changes had to be made to certain bricks and even the player avatar to avoid any similitaries with other building block franchises.

So who knows what new brick the developers will add next? I think, if anything, they should continue adding special bricks as well as more microbrick-variants. I would also be a fan of adding very obvious-use bricks, similar to how we have coffins and flower pieces. Vines would also be very awesome to have in Brickadia!

This was sort of me just saying what I wanted in the game, wasn't it?
