Welcome to today's blurb!
I guess we need some explaining, don't we?
For starters, if you didn't see the previous blurb, I now currently work as a member of staff in Brickadia!
With that in mind, there are some things that need to be said first:
First off, whatever I say here is not reflective of the opinions held by the rest of the staff in Brickadia, nor are they representative of how the team operates in any shape or form.
Second off, this blurb is still not officially affiliated in any way to the game or the development team behind Brickadia as well.
Lastly, well, let's just talk about it!
I was hired on June 15th, 2026. That means as of the time writing this, I have been working for about a month already. Cool!
The moment I got hired, there were a lot of things to take care of right away, the biggest being setting up the trailer for Early Access 3 Update. That's right, I recorded it, edited it, and posted it!
Of course, there's a lot of other things I could say, like making certain Steam Assets to match the Early Access 3 Update, recording posts for the social media accounts, etc. etc.
However, that would take a long while and, frankly, this is more of a community column than it is a me-column!
That's why, straight off the bat, I'll say for those curious that I absolutely enjoy working for Brickadia! Trying to figure out what works best for social media while also recording and making sets is a lot of fun. There's a lot more planned that's on the way!
Now, with that out of the way, some of you may recall something about a contest that I was personally hosting for the blurb!
Out of generosity (and the fact that I've been incredibly busy as a result of this newly found position), I'm just going to say that the contest ends today!
Who won? What do they win? That will be announced in the next blurb!
Beyond that, we still have to discuss what's going to happen to the speculation column too, now that I know absolutely everything! Well don't you worry, we'll get to that when we get to it!
For now, let's take a look at what the community has been up to!
Incredible use of color, lighting, and text decals!:

It's only natural that with the Graffiti texture for Text Decals that we'd inevitably get a wall of graffiti:

Different fonts and skewing for Text Decals really does wonders for builds:

"This next test will determine how patient you are for the next Brickadia update":

Despite not being LEGO, the Text Decal work on this build gives me LEGO sticker vibes:

I'd be tired too if I had that much to eat:

Every time I go on Twitter or Tiktok, I always see a post where the entire Backrooms film is leaked:

I, too, am a fan of minimalistic posters of actual good aesthetic design:

I can absolutely imagine all of these ships coming out like the candy of a Pez dispenser and activating. It sounds funny, but it's sick in my head!:

Now we arrive at this blurb's user column!
The question for this blurb is:
What are your thoughts on the fact that I'm working for Brickadia? What do you think is going to happen to the speculation column?
"I think its cool you're working as I now have an inside man. Just kidding. I'm glad since you have always been so invested as a super fan and it is nice you are being utilized for the good of the game anyways, I feel like you should have had some official position a long time ago. I think speculation will probably be user led and you will just be the manager of sorts to organize and get responses to questions that aren't your own. Maybe community driven, votes or something."
"oh shit i didnt know u were :O what do u do"
"I think they should clone you and have the clone write the speculation column."
"I find you working for brickadia as a expression of your individual commitment to the game, and I feel like that could help your speculation column to be in bigger details but it almost feels like an "insider trading" moment (not accusing). I do think it will give you deeper insights but I also feel like it'll be expected of you to be more detailed since you are officially a team member. I want this game to succeed and I feel you want the same."
"I think durb has cooked hard with all the marketing material lately and is generally doing a great job. As for the speculation column, I think durb is gonna leak stuff for us."
"Brickadia needed someone for media, so hiring someone who already made content that showcased what the community has made seems natural. The speculation becomes the insights of the oracle."
And now for the blurb comic panel!:
Well, what a surprising turn of events!
So obviously, there's an elephant in this room that needs some addressing.
If I'm working at Brickadia now, what exactly happens to this speculation column?
I think the best thing moving forward for the speculation column is to give it a small rework.
What do I mean?
For starters, I'll be taking the time to use this column to describe some of the behind-the-scenes in terms of how certain shots were done in social media videos. On top of that, I can also use this column to bring up certain development content to feature here!
Lastly, I also want to try to bring in some guest writers for the speculation column. After all, speculation isn't a one man job, and I have asked others to write some before as guests, such as a member of the community Tantiem!
With all that in mind, I wouldn't necessarily say this column is dead, so while my job can't be to air my speculation as much, that certainly doesn't stop you, the reader, from speculating on what I share with discretion!
Given all this information, I unfortunately don't have much to share this blurb, as I made this on a moments notice after much delay. Stay tuned for the next blurb for some info regarding Aerodynamic Surfaces!
And that's all for this blurb!
